Dr Ong Thun How is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine. 

She did her Health Manpower Development Plan training in sleep medicine at Brown University, Rhode Island.
She is also the immediate past Director, Sleep Disorder Unit (SDU), under her lead the SGH Sleep Disorder Unit was the first adult sleep unit in Singapore to achieve international accreditation by The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Ong led the unit to a successful re-accreditation and she played a significant role in formalising sleep medicine as part of the residency curriculum.

Research Interests: Her research interests include obstructive sleep apnea in Asian patients, chronic non-invasive ventilation, and ways to improve continuous positive pressure take-up and compliance.
