Dr Ng Wai Hoe is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and Senior Consultant with the Department of Neurosurgery at National Neuroscience Institute (NNI). He previously held the positions of Medical Director with the National Neuroscience Institute, Academic Chair with the SingHealth Duke-NUS Neuroscience Academic Clinical Programme as well as Deputy Chairman with the SingHealth Medical Board.
Dr Ng is a neurosurgeon with a subspecialty practice focused on neurosurgical oncology (brain tumours), stereotactic and functional neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and underwent residency training in Singapore (NNI) and Australia (Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital). He underwent subspecialty training at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Children's Hospital in Neuro-oncology, Toronto Western Hospital in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) in Paediatric Neurosurgery. He was also a Sugita Fellow and Visiting Scholar at Nagoya University.
