2023 NIHA Policy Forum: Transforming Healthcare for the Next Decade

Burgeoning innovations involving AI, the metaverse, telemedicine, and digital therapeutics offer the promise of better, more efficient health services that can address constrained healthcare manpower and resources. At the same time, governments and the public have serious concerns about lack of appropriate regulation, data security, data privacy, AI’s ‘black box’ characteristics, and even what has been described as AI’s ‘extinction event’ potential.

Rounding off the 2023 NIHA Leaders Programme for regional Health Ministry senior officials, this public Forum will involve expert speakers from government, academia, the healthcare sector and industry. They will discuss the major issues, provide key insights, and share relevant case studies to provide an enhanced understanding of what the Digital Health Future really looks like. The Forum will end with a segment celebrating the outcomes of the NIHA initiative since its launch in 2010.

Continuing Education Credits

The Centre of Regulatory Excellence is an accredited provider for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for Pharmacists and Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Doctors.

Continuing education credits are available for CoRE events through the Singapore Pharmacy Council and the Singapore Medical Council subject to their respective approvals.

Attendees who wish to avail of the credits are required to sign the relevant registration form along with their CPE/CME number on the day of the events.

Should the event be conducted online, please provide your CPE/CME number in the respective e-registration form.

The attendee’s registration details will be submitted after the event and credited upon receiving respective approvals.
