Monthly Duke-NUS MD-PhD Dinner speaker schedule

Set in an informal and casual atmosphere, the monthly MD-PhD dinners are held every last Wednesday of the month. These dinner meetings provide the platform for students to meet with faculty members, researchers, clinician scientists and doctors from our local medical community.

Students of all levels enjoy the exposure of short talks and sharing from invited guest speakers of diverse backgrounds. Ample time is left for questions and answer sessions.

The dinners introduce students to programme directors of residency programmes from SingHealth, NUHS etc. This is especially helpful for seniors for their future residency and career planning.

The dinners also provide interaction time with our Programme Director, A/Prof. Ong Sin Tiong and faculty members for more strategic topics, such as planning their course timeline, curriculum updates etc..

The monthly get together is also an excellent way for students to meet each other and exchange experiences.
