Duke-NUS Health Innovator Programme (DHIP)

The Duke NUS Health Innovator Programme (DHIP) is a nine-month, first-of-its-kind programme in Singapore that assembles a multidisciplinary student team made up of a Duke-NUS medical student, an engineering student from NUS, and an MBA student to work on a critical unmet clinical need while being closely mentored by industry & clinical mentors.

An immersive 12-week certificate programme to prepare students and researchers for careers or collaborations in life sciences and health commercialisation.

Innovation and Commercialisation Ecosystem

Duke-NUS promotes a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by:

  • Educating the students and staff of Duke-NUS, with the aim of increasing knowledge and awareness of Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship
     
  • Engaging private sector and other external stakeholders in Duke-NUS’ mission and activities
     
  • Connecting the Duke-NUS community with the private sector, including investors, industry professionals, and entrepreneurs
