David B. Matchar, MD, is a Professor at the Programme in Health Services and Systems Research (HSSR), one of the Signature Research Programmes within the Duke-NUS Medical School. Professor Matchar has over 35 years of experience in clinical research, simulation modelling and health economics, particularly in the context of common health issues facing an ageing population. He is also a Professor at Duke University in the United States, and received the AB in Statistics from Princeton University.
