Christina Schönleber, Director (Policy & Programmes) at the Association of Pacific Rim Universities is responsible for developing and growing APRU’s strategic policy impact, addressing key regional challenges while developing the Associations key programme areas accordingly.

Prior to this, Christina was Head of Knowledge Exchange at the Royal College of Art in London responsible for developing and implementing the RCA’s strategy for Knowledge Exchange and developing key industrial and third-party partnerships. During her time at the RCA Christina set up new strategic collaborations with major international corporations such as Tata Consultancy Services and Visa Europe.

As Assistant Director of the University of Kent’s Innovation and Enterprise Department Christina led the University's Knowledge Exchange development in key areas of science and social science. In this role, she set up and facilitated the university’s engagement with the UK security and information sectors and forged lasting strategic partnerships with Government and industry. Following this she worked as a business development consultant in Hong Kong, developing Sino-German business partnerships.

Before joining the higher education sector, Christina held senior business roles with international media corporations in the UK addressing IP, licensing and challenges while developing new programmes for TV and music formats.
