Vision
Biomedical Research depends heavily on Big Data Science. At the Centre for Computational Biology, we advance research on human disease by developing and integrating methods for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. The research activities of the Centre for Computational Biology are connected with the Signature Research Programs of Duke-NUS and with SingHealth. Major areas of expertise include
- Systems Biology
- Translational Genomics
- Computational modeling
- Machine Learning in biomedical research
DATA ANALYTICS (NEW!)
The Centre for Computational Biology (CCB) Data Analytics Services has been set up to support advanced data analysis.
The Data Analytics Services provides fee-for service support and working together with the Duke-NUS Genome Biology Facility.
We provide basic and advanced Data Analysis in genomics, sequencing and data integration.
The main data modalities covered are:
- DNA-based: WGS, WES, targeted panel and ChIP-seq
- RNA-based: bulk RNA Sequencing, single cell RNA-seq (10X) and Microarray
- Methylation based: Bisulphite Sequencing and Methylation Array
- Other -omics: Proteomics and Metabolomics
- Multi-omics integrative analysis
- Spatial Transcriptomics
For enquiries on pricing, analysis method, do provide some basic information about your project/data.
You may use this form and attach it to your email to us at CCB Data Analytics (gmsbx233@nus.edu.sg)
If you have specific needs for advanced data analyses projects, please indicate this in your enquiry.
EDUCATION
We supervise students in the Duke-NUS PhD programme Integrated Biology and Medicine, the programme Quantitative Biology and Medicine as well as the Duke-NUS combined MD-PhD programme.
We organize Bioinformatics Seminar Series, tutorial talks and a week-long workshop on Computational Biology, Bioinformatics and Systems Biology led by international experts.
