Mission & Objectives

Duke-NUS Centre for Clinician-Scientist+ Development (CCS+D)

The Centre for Clinician-Scientist+ Development supports the research pillar of academic medicine in our SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC) by nurturing passionate and talented clinician-scientists. The Centre provides support for aspiring clinician-scientists at the developmental stage of their research career, through personalised career guidance and structured training geared towards improving research and leadership skills.

Key Strategies
  1. Provide broad educational programming to elevate the appreciation, value, and understanding of research across constituent groups of the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC
  2. Drive high potential clinicians towards careers in research
  3. Identify and enroll applicants with the highest probability of success
  4. Align focused mentoring, educational content, and incentive structures towards sustained successful national grant funding and careers in research
