The core curriculum and excellent mentors were the main attractions. The course taught me not just 'how' to do health services research but also 'why,' 'when,' and 'who.' Practical sessions and group activities paved the way for future collaborations. Faculty transformed materials into real-life scenarios, preparing us for research challenges. This course reshaped my view of research, emphasizing implementation science and stakeholder engagement. Excellent instructors, engaging team activities, and extraordinary mentorship made it an enriching journey. Building a project from infancy and utilizing various resources were highlights. The instructors’ ability to engage learners virtually was outstanding.
As a participant in the Duke-NUS Graduate Certificate Programme in Health Services Innovation (HSI), I found the timing perfect for taking on a new portfolio in project and innovation. The course surpassed my expectations, covering relevant and applicable topics. Presenting my study and applying the knowledge was extremely helpful.
