HSSR Discrete Choice Experiments (DCE) Conference, 28 October 2024

The DCE Conference was held on 28 October 2024. Besides local speakers from Duke-NUS and SingHealth, experts from Duke-University and Australia were also present to share their experiences. Associate Professor Juan Marcos Gonzalez gave a keynote speech titled "From stories to evidence: Quantitative Patient-Preference Data for Health and Health Care Decision Making". 

The conference welcomed a total of over 100 local and overseas participants, who attended the event virtually or physically. They include students, professionals from healthcare institutions, academia, and corporate organisations. Through the event, participants learnt about how revolutionizing health economics by capturing patient and provider preferences, leading to better policy decisions and improved healthcare delivery. A panel discussion was held before the end of the conference, allowing both speakers and participants to share perspectives and ideas.
