The Khoo Award aim to strengthen peer-reviewed grant applications and create a learning environment to promote career development by funding the generation of pilot data or extension of existing grants.
The Khoo Pilot Award (KPA) is available as part of the Khoo Scholar Programme for current or former Khoo Scholars who need pilot funding for their research projects.
To accompany the Khoo Award, CCSD organises Research Development Seminars (RDS) that help clinician-scientists get constructive feedback from a panel of reviewers on their research proposals. With the feedback provided, the proposals can be further improved for submission for grant applications.
