Prof Kenneth Hartigan-Go has more than 25 years of experience as a clinician, professor, and manager of health programs. He holds Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and from Newcastle University in the United Kingdom.

Prof Hartigan-Go is a Fellow at the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh), the American College of Physicians, and the Institute of Corporate Directors. He was also an Honorary Fellow at the College of Physicians and the Academy of Medicine of Singapore.

From 2015–2016, Prof Hartigan-Go served as the Undersecretary of the Philippine Department of Health. He was also Director General for the Philippine Food and Drugs Administration (2012–2014), and Manager of the Philippine National Drug Policy Program (1999–2001).

In 2006, Prof Hartigan-Go served as member of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety for six years and has held faculty positions at the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and the Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health.

Prof Hartigan-Go is currently a member of the WHO Advisory Committee on the Safety of Medicinal Products, and an Associate Professor at the Asian Institute of Management where he also serves as School Head for the Stephen Zuellig Graduate School of Development Management. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of the NUS Initiative for Health in Asia (NIHA).
