The Programme Evaluation Unit is a key platform within SDGHI, offering robust evaluation support to assess the needs, implementation process, effectiveness and impact of health programmes and projects. By delivering evidence-based insights, the team empowers informed decision-making, enhances programme design, and shapes policy development.

What we do

Engagement

We strategically engage partners within and outside of SingHealth to develop and scale global health programmes in the South and Southeast Asian region.

Consultation

We provide comprehensive consultations and support to global health projects for robust implementation and rigorous evaluations.

Capacity Building

We foster knowledge and capacity of global health practitioners and enthusiasts through workshops, webinars, e-modules and a weeklong course as part of our Graduate Certificate in Global Health Practice in Asia.

Drop-in Clinic

The PEU team runs virtual drop-in clinics for any programme evaluation, implementation research and grant application queries. During SDGHI’s grant call period (see Grants & Funding ) we also provide dedicated support for the programme evaluation aspect of grant applications. These clinics are open to all staff within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre.
