Research

Our Research team manages four grant programmes as part of its broader research efforts.

These programmes include:

  • Annual SDGHI faculty calls for global health proposals with a focus on ASEAN partners.
  • Calls from the SingHealth Joint Office for Academic Medicine for Faculty from the SingHealth Academic Clinical Programmes. Our institute’s role is to promote applications and vet these proposals for quality and priority.
  • A grant call for the Nursing, Allied Health and Pharmacy Faculty within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre.
  • A joint grant call with the University of North Sumatra in Medan.

More information on these calls can be found on our Grants & Funding page.

The Research team also works with the Programme Evaluation Unit and Global Mental Health, Planetary Health, Early Childhood Development and Innovation teams to ensure research programmes are appropriately designed, supported, implemented and managed. This sometimes includes partnerships with the Duke-NUS Signature Research Programmes and Research Centres

The Programme Evaluation Unit, in particular, is undertaking a variety of research activities on health service and systems research.
