Foo Suan Jong

Bio

Suan Jong is a senior administrator in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). His current role is to facilitate the formation of a network of regional collaboration centres for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute. 

 

This work involves working strategically with key partners in the region to develop peaks of excellence in research, innovation and education. The role draws on his extensive experience as a pioneer in the Joint Office of Academic Medicine, which serves to enable an integrated academic medicine ecosystem and facilitate development of an empowering collaborative culture between a health system and a medical school. 

 

He holds a Master in Business Development degree awarded by the State University of New York at Buffalo, U.S.A. and a Master of Science (Tourism Planning & Development) from the University of Surrey, Guildford, U.K. He also has a Bachelor of Science Building (2nd Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore.
