Brief Biography:

Dr Malhotra is an Assistant Professor, Deputy Director of Research at Lien Centre for Palliative Care and Program in Health Services and Systems Research, Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. She is a medically trained epidemiologist. She is interested in research to improve the delivery of palliative care services for patients with advanced serious illnesses in Singapore. She is also leading studies that focus on understanding and meeting end-of-life care preferences of patients and their caregivers, and improving quality of communication between patients and physicians. She has extensive experience in conducting survey-research, cohort studies, trials and secondary data analysis.
