Brief Biography:
Dr Gillian Phua is a Consultant in the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care, National Cancer Centre Singapore. She works mainly with cancer patients but has a special interest in integrating palliative care for cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, nephrology and neurology patients. Her other interests include communication skills training.

She has a keen interest in medical education, hoping the improve the quality of medical care rendered to patients through education.  As an education faculty member of the Lien Centre for Palliative Care, she is actively involved in the development, evaluation and active teaching of interprofessional palliative care courses and communication skills training.
