Dr Tan Ying PEH

Senior Consultant (Palliative Medicine)

Brief Biography:

Dr Peh Tan Ying is a Senior Consultant in the NCCS Division of Supportive and Palliative Care, Clinical Director at Assisi Hospice and Chair of the Chapter of Palliative Medicine Physicians, Academy of Medicine Singapore.

Besides her passion for her clinical work in palliative care, Dr Peh has a keen interest in palliative care education and training of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses and allied health professionals. She holds a Master in Health Professions Education Singapore (MHPE-S) with Maastricht University, and sits on the Palliative Medicine Advanced Specialist Training Subspecialty Training Committee and Joint Committee for Specialist Training Exit Exam Committee.

As the Education Director of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Supportive and Palliative Care Centre and Chairperson of the Singapore Hospice Council Healthcare Professionals Committee, she is heavily involved in undergraduate and postgraduate palliative care education and training in Singapore. As the Education Consultant in the Lien Centre for Palliative Care (LCPC), she plays an instrumental role in the development, implementation and evaluation of the various LCPC educational programmes.
