The Seoul-Osaka-Singapore (SOS) collaboration aims to compare and contrast the Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest care and its effects on the patient outcomes in the three geographies capitalizing OHCA databases of their respective
jurisdictions.
Dr. Ki Jeong Hong from Seoul National University, Dr Yohei Okada from Osaka University and Dr Fahad Siddiqui from Duke-NUS Medical School, under the leadership of Prof Marcus Ong joined hands to carry forward OHCA research in the region.
The collaboration alleviates the data access challenges permitting comparative analysis revealing issues that either need further research or can be the intervention targets.
Two publications have been produced and are in press as of Sept 2024.
The groups meets every 2 months to continue exploring new aspects of OHCA care.
