HEAL Overall Aims

Theme 1:

Use a standardised methodology to collect meteorological and all-cause mortality data to evaluate the impact on health during periods of heat wave

Theme 2:

Systematically collect pre-hospital data and geospatially map areas within a Telangana district with high volume of calls due to heat-related illness during heat wave periods

 

 

 

 

Theme 3:

Pilot and assess the feasibility of CarbonCool suit intervention introduced in the pre-hospital setting. Community interventions (Public education, NGO run cooling points)
