Join a unique regional gathering of innovators at the Asia-Pacific Global Health Innovation Hackathon 2025

 

This event brings together top talent from around the region for a two-day innovation challenge dedicated to addressing the region's most pressing health threats brought about by climate change.

 

This year's focus is on swiftly turning ideas into actionable solutions.

We welcome teams of three to four passionate individuals, united by a shared mission to innovate for health and ready to:

Dive into an intensive hackathon programme alongside other regional peers 

Unleash their creativity 

Turn ideas to address health impacts of climate change into actionable concept plans

All travel, accommodation, and activity expenses will be covered for selected participants from Developing Countries in Asia, offering a valuable opportunity to innovate and collaborate with other regional partners

The event welcomes:

Entrepreneurs: having recently conceptualised or launched a start-up, an organisation, an innovation or a campaign at an early stage (which could be either non- or for-profit)

Intrapreneurs: who have recently improved a process, product or system through data-driven research and development

Technical experts: with skills, tools and know-how that supports the development of novel solutions in fields including medical and nursing, environmental health, engineering, design, sustainable financing, climate science

Academics: with in-depth content knowledge acquired through courses, research projects or a PhD

Civil society leaders: advocates for the rights of communities or families whose members experience the health impacts of climate change first-hand

We're looking for participants who:

Demonstrate passion and commitment to addressing urgent health challenges

Possess a creative, innovative and flexible mindset

Are open to engage in co-creation with peers and experts

Hold at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Possess a minimum of three years related work experience

Possess working-level knowledge of English and are comfortable pitching in English

Prizes

Three winning teams will be awarded a six-month incubation programme to further develop their concept plans into fundable solutions.

This hybrid programme includes mentorship from dedicated mentors for all team members.

As part of the experience, teams will participate in a two-week, in-person intensive incubation session in Singapore, with airfare and accomodation provided.

Terms and conditions apply and prizes will not be disbursed as cash.
