Catherine is a Research Assistant at Centre for Aging Research and Education (CARE). graduated with a Bachelors of Science (Hons) in Medical Biotechnology at Sunway University, Malaysia.
Catherine is a Research Assistant at Centre for Aging Research and Education (CARE). She holds a Bachelors of Science (Hons) in Medical Biotechnology at Sunway University, Malaysia. Her background of research experience ranges from cancer biology to stem cell and regenerative medicine studies. Prior to joining DUKE-NUS, she was a Patient Navigator at Sunway University for an AI-based research project in early lung cancer detection, in collaboration with Lung Cancer Network Malaysia, Qualitas Health and AstraZeneca. She had the opportunity to speak to patients of different demographics and background, and assist them through a screening program for lung cancer. She has a passion in Public Health and by joining CARE, she hopes to apply her knowledge to help create a health-conscious community.
