This one-semester course covers the fundamentals of clinical research.
The students will gain conceptual mastery of topics listed in the course description and will be able to use this fundamental knowledge as a stepping stone for subsequence courses, forums and workshops The students will also be able to apply the acquired knowledge in their thesis research projects.
Core Course: Foundations of Precision Medicine GMS6812
This one-semester course covers the fundamentals of precision medicine.
Students will acquire general knowledge of precision medicine across a broad spectrum from pharmacogenetics to omics and will gain a good understanding of the technological advancement in precision medicine and drug development. Students will also learn how to protect and commercialize precision medicine innovations.

This course spans across 6 semesters.
This course will complement with other courses in the PhD Programme in Clinical Sciences to familiarize students with the practice of clinical research methodology
