The Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Programme (EYE ACP), jointly launched by SingHealth and Duke-NUS, is a cluster-wide framework providing resources and funding for ophthalmologists to advance in academic medicine. Key appointment holders appointed include chair, and vice chairs for education and research.
To ensure world-class healthcare outcomes, the EYE ACP focuses on developing a comprehensive framework of existing well-established research capabilities in SERI and the training capabilities in SNEC. SNEC and SERI remain focused on the pursuit of excellence in clinical care, medical education and research. The EYE ACP is a timely initiative by formalising academic medicine in ophthalmology and supporting our staff commitment for greater excellence in clinical care, education and research in the field of ophthalmology.
