Bio
Weiping Han obtained his PhD at Cornell University and did postdoctoral work at the University of Pittsburgh and HHMI/UT Southwestern Medical Center. Currently he is Distinguished Principal Scientist and Division Director (Neurometabolism in Health & Disease) at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (A*STAR), Professor at National University of Singapore and Duke-NUS Medical School, and a Member of the Neurobiology Program at Life Sciences Institute of the National University of Singapore School of Medicine. He is also Program Director for the Brain-Body Initiative, an A*STAR Strategic Research Program. His research interest centers around metabolic homeostasis in health and disease.
