(1) Designing and Conducting Focus Group Discussions: Theory and PracticeCARE Methods Workshop | 2023
• Co-developed the curriculum for two cycles of the workshop (in-person)
• Trained attendees on the practicalities of conducting focus group discussions, e.g. coordination, logistical considerations, moderator’s guide etc.
(2) Conducting Qualitative Interviews
Community Researcher: Qualitative Interviewer Training | 2021
• Co-developed interviewing training program for youths and older adults
• Delivered a workshop to train older individuals with limited research background in conducting qualitative interviews, including active listening, probing, and reflective listening
• Contextualised the training programme to prepare and empower community researchers for data collection in the Programme Evaluation of Project Silver Screen study
