Bio
Dr Teo received her medical education from the National University of Singapore. Upon completion of her Anaesthesiology training in 2003, Dr Teo went on a fellowship under the Human Development Manpower Award to train in Anaesthesia for Liver Transplantation at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, Australia.
Dr Teo is currently the Academic Vice-Chair (Clinical) of the SingHealth Anaesthesiology and Perioperative Sciences Academic Clinical Program (Anaes ACP).
In Sengkang General Hospital, besides heading the Department of Anaesthesiology, Dr Teo also oversees Intensive Medicine. She is also a member of the Sengkang General Hospital Clinical Service Planning Committee and Operating Theatre Committee.
On the education front, Dr Teo is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and a Clinical Lecturer of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
Dr Teo holds concurrent appointments within the Singapore General Hospital's Anaesthesiology department. She is a Deputy Head, the Director of department's Comprehensive Services and a member of the audit committee. She forms part of the liver transplant team in Singapore General Hospital.
