Professor Ian Curran, Vice Dean of Education, Duke-NUS Medical School, was conferred the Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and also admitted into the Academy under the College of Clinician Educators at the Induction Comitia on 6 July 2019.

The Induction Comitia is an annual event in the Academy’s calendar, where newly admitted Fellows of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) will be officially inducted into the Fellowship and conferred with the FAMS postgraduate degree.

The conferment of Fellow, Academy of Medicine, Singapore is a reputable, recognised postgraduate medical qualification in Singapore. The Induction Comitia ceremony was witnessed by Mr Chan Heng Kee, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Guest-of-Honour.
