Bio
Dr Joanne Quah is a Family Physician by training, Senior Consultant and Assistant Director, Education at SingHealth Polyclinics, as well as the Program Director for the SingHealth Family Medicine Residency Program. She is Adjunct Assistant Professor, and Director for the Health Promotion and Preventive Care Research and Research Talent Development, and a key appointment holder for the SingHealth Duke-NUS Family Medicine Academic Clinical Program.
Dr Quah graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 with MBBS, Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) in 2006, Fellow College of Family Physicians Singapore FCFP(S) and Master of Clinical Investigation MCI (NUS) in 2010, and completed a HMDP Fellowship in Integrated Diabetes Care in the United Kingdom in 2016. She was also appointed National Examiner, NUS Department of Graduate Medical Studies from 2013-2017 and involved in planning for the MMed (FM) Theory and Clinical exams. Her interests are in nurturing the next generation of family physicians, mentorship, inter-professional learning, primary care research, education research and patient safety.
