Under the special pathways, students have the opportunity to pursue diverse academic
interests while remaining engaged with the medical landscape at Duke-NUS, enabling
them to bring different perspectives and apply their skills into the practice of medicine.
This online event will begin with a talk on the various pathways and provide the
opportunity for attendees to consult with representatives from our partner universities.
Pre-university students, teachers, and parents are all welcome.
Difference between MBBS vs MD degreeDuke-NUS Medical School, unlike undergraduate medicine schools such as NTU Lee
Kong Chian and NUS Yong Loo Lin, requires an undergraduate degree for entry into the
MD programme. Applicants with MBBS qualifications or equivalent, will not be eligible for
application. It is important to note that the conditional admissions offered by Duke-NUS do not constitute a double major program. Upon meeting admission requirements, students will matriculate into Duke-NUS immediately upon graduation from their respective universities.
