Bio

Professor Wong is a General Surgeon with a special interest in Upper Gastro-intestinal Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery and Therapeutic Endoscopy. In Upper GI Surgery, he specialises in Stomach Cancer and Oesophageal Cancer as well as Laparoscopic GI Surgery.

Professor Wong graduated from Medical Faculty (MBBS), National University of Singapore in 1984. He subsequently obtained his Fellowship in Surgery (FRCS) from Royal College of Edinburgh, UK in 1990 and became a Member of Fellow of Academy of Medicine (FAMS), Singapore in 1996.

Professor Wong subsequently went to Japan, England and Hong Kong to undergo training in Upper GI Surgery and Endoscopy.
