Clinical Associate Prof Chin Chee Tang is a Senior Consultant with the Department of Cardiology, and the Director of Coronary Intervention Service at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS).

His sub-specialty interest is in interventional cardiology and he performs percutaneous coronary interventions both in the elective and emergency settings. In addition, he performs catheter-based renal sympathetic denervation for the management of patients with uncontrolled high blood pressure.

Clin Assoc Prof Chin is actively involved in clinical research. In 2010, he completed his Fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, United States, with a special emphasis on clinical trials and outcomes research. He presently has a joint appointment as Clinical Associate Professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School and continues to collaborate on national, and international clinical studies and trials. He continues to publish actively in international peer-reviewed publications.

He is the Academic Vice-Chair (Faculty and Professional Development) of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Cardiovascular Sciences – Academic Clinical Programme, Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee and a Core Faculty Member of the Cardiology Senior Residency Programme.

He has been the Chief Risk Officer at NHCS since 2018.
