Education Qualifications: MBBS, MRCPCH, MCI, MPH

Dr Chong graduated in 2005 from the National University of Singapore (currently Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine), obtained her MRCPCH (UK) in 2009 and Masters of Public Health (MPH) in 2017. She is currently a Senior Staff Physician working in the Children’s Emergency Department in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore.  

Dr Chong is also a Clinician Investigator interested in clinical prediction rules in the paediatric Emergency Department, and trauma research (specifically traumatic brain injury).  Her areas of interest are specifically in the area of the utility of clinical prediction tools in the paediatric emergency field and in childhood injuries. She is collaborating with physicians from adult emergency departments, as well as paediatricians and ED physicians from other Asian countries in a number of ongoing projects.
