Bio

Ms. Chen Liying is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in healthcare management, education, and consulting. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Education at the Global Health Institute, SingHealth Duke-NUS, she also holds the role of Co-Lead at the Asian Institute of Healthcare Leadership and Management.

Additionally, her expertise extends as a Distinguished Professor at Binzhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital and an Executive Master of Business Administration Mentor at Shantou University Management School.

With her extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in hospital management training and consulting, Liying has provided consultancy to more than 1,000 hospitals and trained more than 20,000 participants across Southeast Asia and China. Her efforts have contributed to enhancing management capabilities and overall performance in these institutions.

With a Master's in Management from James Cook University, Australia, Liying has held significant leadership positions, including Dean of SGP International Management Academy and Director of the Hospital Leadership & Management Centre . She is widely recognised as a consultant expert in Hospital Excellence Patient Experience Framework and Chief Training/Consulting Expert in Hospital Quality Service System Construction. 

Liying’s notable achievements include leading capacity enhancement projects at prestigious institutions like West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and Peking University People's Hospital. She has also played a pivotal role in establishing quality service systems at Foshan Chancheng Central Hospital.

Liying’s dedication to improving healthcare extends to smaller institutions as well, evident in her work with Xuzhou Mining Bureau General Hospital in Jiangsu Province and People's Hospital of Dongyang City, Zhejiang Province, where she implemented effective service quality management strategies.

Her passion for education is reflected in her role as a lecturer and mentor at various academic and professional institutions, including the Medical School of Peking University and Qilu Hospital, Shandong University.

With a relentless commitment to excellence, Liying continues to shape the future of healthcare management through her expertise, leadership, and dedication to quality improvement.
