Bio
Jason is an Assistant Professor with the Technology Enhance Learning and Innovation Department within the Office of Education at Duke-NUS Medical School. He has a joint appointment with the Academic Medicine Education Institute (AMEI), a collaborative effort by Singhealth and Duke-NUS to provide excellence in teaching and learning.
Jason has over 15 years of experience in education research and administration at the university level, including faculty development, scholarship of teaching and learning, and curriculum design. He is interested in using technology, spaces for learning, and medical education. Currently, Jason's research involves looking into the use of technology for medical education, such as immersive learning, 3D printing, and AR/VR technologies, such as the Anatomage Table and Oculus, for anatomy learning. He takes a grounded approach when collecting data, with a focus on understanding how learning occurs.
Jason is also a Certified LEGO®️ SERIOUS PLAY®️ facilitator.
