Dr Koo Wen Hsin is Senior Consultant (Division of Medical Oncology) at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS)
Dr Koo also holds academic positions in the Duke-NUS Medical School, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was a member of National Examiner Board for Internal Medicine, MOH between 2015 – 2018.
As the chairman for the Medical Oncology Specialist Training Committee between 2005-2014, he successfully guided the various institutions in transiting to senior residency in medical oncology. It is also with this same collaborative spirit that Dr Koo helped set up and provided medical oncology training to physicians at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and National University Hospital.
Dr Koo has also initiated many new educational programmes for the upgrading and training for those in the medical profession. He also played an active role in the education of oncology nurses as lecturer for the Master of Nursing Course at NUS and the Palliative courses at Singapore Hospice Council.
