Dr Kevin Tan received his medical degree from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom in 1996. He completed basic specialist training in Internal Medicine in 2003, advanced specialist training in Neurology at NNI in 2006, and a Fellowship in Neuroinfectious Disease and Neuroimmunology at Johns Hopkins University in 2008. He has completed a Master of Science in Health Professions Education at MGH Institute of Health Professions (2016). His clinical expertise is in neuroinflammatory diseases and neurological infections. His medical education interests are team-based learning, innovations in teaching and assessment, clinical reasoning and interprofessional education.
