Bio
I am currently a Senior Consultant and Head at the National Neuroscience Institute (NNI) and Clinical Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
I completed my undergraduate medical training at the University of Nottingham, basic internal medicine training at National Healthcare Group, Singapore and general neurology training at NNI. I then completed a Fellowship in Neuroinfectious Disease and Neuroimmunology at Johns Hopkins University.
My main clinical and research interests are in CNS demyelinating diseases, autoimmune neurology, neurological infections and HIV neurology. I am currently Head, Office of Neurological Education, NNI, Program Director of the Neurology Senior Residency Program at NNI (TTSH campus) and core faculty member of the National Healthcare Group Internal Medicine Program. My interests in medical education focus mainly on team-based learning, innovations in Neurology teaching and clinical reasoning.
