借助聊猫狗 助师生解压 (Lianhe Wanbao)

With the Circuit Breaker in place and everyone confined to their homes, a group of Duke-NUS students applied their creativity to organise an online "pet day" on 15 May, with the aim of getting teachers and students to break the ice through sharing experiences of their pets. This inaugural online event was initiated by student-led community service group "I'm Steady Lah" Chairman, Mr Sidharth Malhotra, a first-year MD student, together with four other students, and sought to raise awareness of mental health. Over 20 teachers and students participated in the Zoom video event, sharing their experience of pet keeping, playing games and sharing how they passed the time during the the Circuit Breaker.
